Anyone responsibly procuring and managing software in a company is working at an immensely important key point in the operational value chain. All of this is done against a legal background, which is often hardly known - or even worse - supposedly but wrongly known.

If you are a license manager, who works on the principle of “learning by doing” you’re moving on thin ice, and you should build a solid basis for your knowledge. The aim of the seminar is to create this basis.
This means that the course attendees first learn basic terms and the principles of software law. After that, all essential questions that arise in daily practice will be touched upon. Individual questions can be deepened by using example scenarios or situations which are brought along by the participants.
The trainer is a lawyer and has many years of experience in teaching legal issues in the IT area.

The course is designed for employees from IT, purchasing, sales, controlling, auditing, management who are active in procurement and management of software and licenses or who are to become active in the future.
Please note that this training is based on the law of the EU. Anglo-American law and international law are not covered by this training.
If your training takes place in the Virtual Classroom, you will receive digital training materials via the Mimeo platform (included in the course price). These can be used online but also offline in the Mimeo environment (search/notes, etc.). For most of the trainings it is possible to download the documents as personalized PDF. If you would like printed training materials in addition to the digital materials, you can order them for € 74,-- net via the registration form.
