Overview

Whereas the License Manager I training focuses on the structured approach towards the implementation of a License Management, this License Manager II training deals more practically with managing licenses in daily business.
With the help of examples and exercises, the theoretical knowledge from License Manager I training will be transferred into practice.
The benefit and the productivity of a pro-active license manager will be compared to the great disadvantage of a license manager acting reactively, only.
• Practical appliance of the knowledge gained within the License Manager I training
• Analyzing the stage of maturity of the companies SAM processes with the help of ISO 19770-1:2012
• Exercises on the basis of real-life scenarios coming from daily business examples of license managers.
Based on vendor independent practical examples the gained knowledge will be intensified. Among other things, topics such as planning an IT environment, especially in view of licensing, or challenges of a license audit are discussed. License management in this training is understood as dynamic and sustainable process.
In comparison to the training License Manager I, this course has more the character of a workshop.

Persons responsible for the purchase of software licenses or persons responsible for software asset management / software license management in companies; IT experts
Good technical understanding of common IT technologies and terms.
Participation in Global License Manager I is a mandatory for participation in the Global License Manager II course.
At the end of the 2-day training course, you have the opportunity to take an examination to achieve the title "License Manager II with TÜV Rheinland certified qualification". The License Manager II exam is an extension exam of License Manager I. Passing the License Manager I exam is a prerequisite for getting the certificate. You register for the exam directly with TÜV Rheinland after the training.

The voucher for the TÜV exam is already included in the course price at a price of € 430,--.

If your training takes place in the Virtual Classroom, you will receive digital training materials via the Mimeo platform (included in the course price). These can be used online but also offline in the Mimeo environment (search/notes, etc.). For most of the trainings it is possible to download the documents as personalized PDF. If you would like printed training materials in addition to the digital materials, you can order them for € 74,-- net via the registration form.

Due to copyright restrictions, printing and PDF download of the Day3 document of this course is not possible. 

Unfortunately, it is not possible to send printed training materials to Switzerland and other non-EU countries for customs clearance reasons.
