The seminar provides new SAP customers with a quick introduction to the world of SAP licences. Existing SAP customers will learn how to optimise licence stocks in the context of S/4HANA conversions or subsequent purchases.

In addition to an overview of the SAP market and the most important new features of the SAP price list, ways of designing the SAP licensing model to meet the individual needs of a company in a cost-benefit-oriented manner will be demonstrated.

Furthermore, information will be provided on typical licensing risks - e.g. those of indirect use or digital access - and how companies can deal with these.

Current topics, such as database licensing HANA Enterprise Edition versus Runtime, cloud contracts and their special features, as well as dealing with volume-based metrics, will be dealt with in depth.

Finally, the participants will receive tips for preparing negotiations and on which important qualitative contents of a licence agreement to pay attention to.
