NIS-2 Coordinator

This training course focuses on the practical implementation of the NIS2 requirements. After an introduction to the context of the NIS2 legislation and an explanation of the terms, we start with specific requirements from the area of NIS2UmsuCG and show how these requirements can be solved in practice using selected norms and standards. For this purpose, we use examples and show solutions or solution variants from practice. Typical challenges such as risk analysis, back-up strategies and cryptography will be discussed. In addition to the objectives stated in the law, it is important to know the points that enable the practitioner to realise the objectives. Checklists and other tools are used for this purpose.

The NIS2 coordinator, as a member of a specialist department such as sales or customer service, acts as a link between the specialist department and the information security officer/CISO and implements the requirements in the day-to-day work of the respective specialist department. The participants are therefore employees of their department with little or no prior knowledge in the field of information security/cybersecurity.
