The course teaches the classic basics for the administration of Microsoft SharePoint Server SE (Subscription Edition) with a focus on practical administration. In addition to the classic operational topics, typical application scenarios from the everyday life of a SharePoint administrator are also highlighted and the associated solutions are shown. In practical exercises, the course participants can test the knowledge they have learnt and familiarise themselves with the administration tools (in particular the SharePoint central administration, the IIS (Internet Information Services) administration console and the PowerShell).

  • Authentication providers (OpenID Connect and Modern Authentication)
  • Support for Windows Server Core

  • Lists, libraries, sites and web parts

Various practical tasks

Administrators who occasionally administer SharePoint farms or beginners in SharePoint administration. Equivalent to level 200-300, this course is ideal for users coming from SharePoint 2016.

  • First experience in SharePoint administration.

  • Basic knowledge of IIS, certificates, use of the shell

This course serves to acquire practical knowledge and exchange experiences. Manufacturer certification is not provided.
