The workshop provides participants with a deeper understanding of the possible uses of group policies, in particular a more intensive insight into the new possibilities of "Preferences". Examples, practical knowledge and hands-on exercises are used to familiarise participants with the use of group policies. It covers the basic understanding of group policies (creating, saving, editing), optimisation (number, processing sequence), special settings and new setting options for Windows 10 and Windows 11. The differences between classic GPO settings and new preferences are also highlighted.

This course serves to acquire practical knowledge and to exchange experiences. Manufacturer certification is not provided.

  • Influencing the default behaviour: inheritance, enforcement, denial of the application
