The target audience for this course is individuals who want to familiarise themselves with the fundamentals of security, compliance and identity (SCI) for cloud-based and related Microsoft services. The content of this course is aligned with the objective profile of the SC-900 exam. Candidates should be familiar with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 and understand how Microsoft's security, compliance and identity solutions can span across these solution areas to provide a holistic end-to-end solution.

Before attending this course, participants must fulfil the following prerequisites:

  • General understanding of networking and cloud computing concepts
  • Basic IT knowledge or general experience working in an IT environment
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365

Multi-factor authentication: Please note that activation of multi-factor authentication (MFA) is required to access the labs. The use of a mobile phone is essential for setup and verification with MFA. You will also need an app that can generate authentication codes - we recommend the free Microsoft Mobile Phone Authenticator. Please note that it will no longer be possible to use the Labs in future if you do not carry out this procedure.

This course prepares you for the SC-900: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals exam and thus for the Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals certification.
