In this course, you will learn how to create applications using low-code techniques to simplify, automate and transform business tasks and processes with Microsoft Power Platform. This course may include a 1-day Applied Workshop, which is in preview. This workshop will allow you to apply your App Maker skills by creating an end-to-end solution to a problem faced by a fictitious business. The solution will include a Microsoft Dataverse database, Power Apps Canvas App and Power Automate workflows.
The App Maker will create solutions to simplify, automate and transform tasks and processes for themselves and their team, with in-depth knowledge of the business domain of the solution. They have a fundamental knowledge of data modelling, user experience design, requirements analysis and process analysis. The App Maker creates and enforces business processes, structures the digital capture of information, improves the efficiency of repeatable tasks and automates business processes. App Maker uses Power Platform's Maker tools to solve business problems. It can leverage advanced features of Microsoft apps and third-party productivity tools. The App Maker knows the capabilities and limitations of the available tools and how to use them. The App Maker works independently and in a solution-oriented way. They may not have formal IT training but are able to use technology to solve business problems and have a personal growth mindset. You understand operational needs and have a vision of the desired outcome. You approach problems with step-by-step and iterative strategies.
