Participants in this course automate time-consuming and repetitive tasks using Microsoft Power Automate. They review solution requirements, create process documentation and design, develop, evaluate and troubleshoot solutions. Candidates work with business stakeholders to improve and automate business workflows. They also deploy and support solutions in production environments with administrators.

Module 1: Getting Started with Power Automate for Desktop

Get familiar with Power Automate for Desktop by learning about workflows, creating automated steps and the basics of workflow development.

Module 2: Working with Power Automate for Desktop

Work with Power Automate for Desktop options, flows, recording functions, conditions, loops, variables, images and error and exception handling.

Module 3: Working with Different Technologies in Power Automate for Desktop

Learn how to automate email processing, Excel, the user interface and system services with Power Automate for Desktop.

Module 4: Implementing Advanced Logic in Power Automate for Desktop

Learn how to work with system flows and control flows, mimic mouse actions, and perform text, date and time editing operations in Power Automate for Desktop.

Module 5: Acquiring expertise with Power Automate for Desktop

If you are a developer with a keen interest in providing automated solutions for your organisation, this certification may be for you. With Microsoft Power Automate, you'll automate time-consuming and repetitive tasks. You'll review solution requirements, create process documentation, and design, develop, implement, integrate, troubleshoot and evaluate solutions. You will help improve and automate business workflows in collaboration with business stakeholders.

Candidates should have experience with the following: JSON, cloudflows and desktopflows, integrating solutions with REST and SOAP services, analysing data using Microsoft Excel, VBScript and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), HTML, JavaScript, at least one programming language, Microsoft Power Platform tool suite (AI Builder, Power Apps, Dataverse and Power Virtual Agents).

This course prepares students for the PL-500: Microsoft Power Automate RPA Developer (beta) exam.

The course price includes:
