Microsoft Licensing Professional - is now called Microsoft Licence Pro by SoftwareOne.

The licensing law for Microsoft software is a comprehensive set of rules. In this two-day training course, you will learn everything about the Microsoft licence models and the volume licensing programmes in detail, as well as the contract variants for the public sector/public segment.

Note: The training is always based on the latest country-specific terms and conditions agreement between Microsoft and the responsible authority:


Germany: Federal Ministry of the Interior (BMI & FWU if required)

Austria: Bundesbeschaffung GmbH (BBG)

Switzerland: Swiss Informatics Conference (SIK)

You can minimise the costs of purchasing and maintaining licences through trained knowledge. In this course you will learn about aspects of licence management and contract forms and discuss a number of case studies. By attending the course, you will also receive information on changes and innovations in current licensing. Our specialists will be happy to provide you with further information.

This course is aimed specifically at customers from the public segment / public service. In addition to the classic topics of the standard MLP course (How are Microsoft products licensed, how are licence agreements structured at Microsoft), the country-specific contract variants of the public sector are also covered. Which country variant is trained depends on the course location:

The course is aimed at persons responsible for software asset management / software licence management and IT employees in the public sector. For newcomers or those with a more intensive interest, we recommend the Microsoft Licence Pro XL ÖD course. Here the material is covered intensively in 3 days and there is more room for your individual questions and practical exercises.

If your training course takes place in the virtual classroom, you will receive digital training documents via the Mimeo platform (included in the course price), which can be used online and offline in the Mimeo environment (search/notes, etc.). If you would like printed training documents in addition to the digital documents, you can order these for € 74 net via the registration form.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to send printed training materials to Switzerland and other non-EU countries for customs reasons.

All face-to-face training courses are generally provided with printed training documents (paper - included in the course price). If you would also like a digital training document via Mimeo, you can order this for € 24 net via the registration form.

For face-to-face courses, refreshments during breaks (drinks, pastries and lunch) are included in the course price.
