  • Implement container security strategies, including Azure Container Instances, Azure Container Registries and Azure Kubernetes.
  • Implement Azure Key Vault, including certificates, keys and secrets.

This course is designed for Azure Security Engineers who wish to take the associated certification exam or perform security tasks in their daily work. This course is also useful for engineers who specialise in providing security for Azure-based digital platforms and want to play an important role in protecting an organisation's data.
Successful course participants will have the following prior knowledge and understanding:
  • Understanding of security best practices and industry security requirements, e.g. defence in depth, least privilege access, role-based access control, multi-level authentication, shared responsibility and zero trust model.
  • Familiarity with security protocols such as VPN (Virtual Private Networks), IPsec (Internet Security Protocol), SSL (Secure Socket Layer), disk and data encryption methods.
  • Experience with deploying Azure workloads This course does not cover the basics of Azure management. Rather, the course content builds on that knowledge and adds security-specific information.
  • Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems and scripting languages.
Course labs can use PowerShell and the CLI.
