Licensing IBM software products on the basis of "SubCapacity" can save licensing costs to a significant extent. However, "SubCapacity" is also subject to complex documentation obligations, in particular through the IBM License Metric Tool (ILMT).

The fact that the ILMT is not easy to manage even for experienced licensing experts is reflected time and again in high audit demands in which "Full" instead of "SubCapacity" is invoiced.

This course helps you to master the ILMT safely and thus also indirectly reduces unwanted audit risks.

For this training, a simple technical understanding and basic knowledge of IBM licensing law are assumed. For this, we recommend our IBM Basic Training DTL23.
This training does not deal with technical aspects (e.g. ILMT installation and updates, etc.). Legal aspects are also not covered in this training.
