This course will help you prepare for the Cisco DevNet Professional certification and for the role of a professional network automation engineer. You'll learn how to implement network applications using Cisco platforms as a foundation, from initial software design through multifaceted system integration to test and deployment automation. The course gives you hands-on experience solving real-world problems using Cisco application programming interfaces (APIs) and modern development tools.
It will help you prepare for the 350-901 Developing Applications with Cisco Core Platforms and APIs (DEVCOR) exam. If you pass this exam, you will meet the core exam requirements for Cisco Certified DevNet Professional and receive the Cisco Certified DevNet Specialist - Core certification.

This course is designed for anyone who is, or wishes to be, in a developer role and has one or more years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining applications based on Cisco platforms.
This course covers specific material on designing, developing and debugging applications using Cisco APIs and platforms, and managing and deploying applications on Cisco infrastructure. To take full advantage of this course, you should have three to five years of experience designing and deploying applications based on Cisco platforms.

There are no formal prerequisites for the Cisco Certified DevNet Associate certification, but you should ensure that you have a good understanding of the exam topics before taking the exam.

  • Understand the use of APIs
