Every company collects a large amount of personal data from internal and external parties, which must not only be managed but also protected. If more than nine employees are involved in processing this data, your company is obliged to appoint a data protection officer (DPO). In addition to the required reliability, the DPO must also have the appropriate expertise. We offer you the right basis and qualification for this with the course Data Protection Officer.

Your benefit

  • You will receive expertise that is in line with § 4f of the Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz), which applies to this, so that you can fulfil your tasks as a data protection officer (DPO) lawfully and comprehensively.
  • The introduction of data protection places special demands on companies. Learn how to separate the "mandatory" from the "nice-to-have".
  • The Data Protection Officer course is a prerequisite for participation in the Data Protection Auditor (TÜV) course. After successful completion, the training can be credited as part of the proof of expertise and further training for recognised experts at the Independent Centre for Data Protection Schleswig-Holstein (ULD).
  • Overview of data protection law
  • Origin and development of data protection law
  • Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and more specific regulations
  • Structure and outline of the BDSG - the most important paragraphs for implementation
  • Organisation of data protection and data security in the company
