Adobe After Effects for advanced users

Adobe After Effects is the standard for professional motion graphics and special effects! Thanks to the comprehensive collaboration with other Adobe applications, 2D and 3D compositing functions as well as numerous effects and animations, you can give projects for film and the Internet a completely new dimension. All requirements for contemporary video productions such as advertising clips, TV trailers, music videos and compositing of virtual 3D worlds with real shots are realised with AfterEffects. In this course, you will learn how to plan and realise complex animations, taking into account an optimal workflow. In one module you will be informed about the technical requirements for computer, film and TV productions and gain knowledge about colour spaces, field dominance and pixel aspect ratio. Animation techniques will be deepened and compared in practical application examples. The focus of this course is on complex compositing with the integration of green screen VFX shots, colour grading and special effects. Advanced masks and path animations as well as 3D integration are also addressed. An introduction to the scripting capability via expressions in After Effects is provided by means of practical examples.
